Hours spent hand knotting this gorgeous strand of graduated AAA pink morganite lead me to wistfully remember my garden of peony bushes from our previous Boston residence. When it came time to assign a name to this creation - “Peony” seemed like the obvious choice.

Morganite is one of those stones that can be found in varying hues of pink from true baby pink to an almost peach color. This particular strand is a true baby pink, but what makes it so remarkable in addition to the sweet color, is the sparkle, clarity and cut of these enviable stones. The tedious task of hand knotting with a traditional silk thread seemed appropriate, since the quality of the stones is so special and delicate. With so much time invested in the hand-knotting - a 14k gold diamond filigree safety clasp insures the wearer of an additional level of security.
