A late 19th century to early 20th century French gem-set chain necklace. The chain is 18k gold, and each link is set with a tiny diamond, sapphire, emerald, ruby, pearl, opal, coral, turquoise and moonstone. The chain is absolutely gorgeous with fine craftsmanship. It is substantial with the weight of 36.72 grams. The barrel clasp works perfectly with a good click sound when closed. The chain bears French hallmarks. Overall it is in great condition with the natural patina in gold.
