A solid eighteen carat yellow gold chain, or necklace. This is a classic "box link" chain. The necklace features a traditional round, sprung clasp. This clasp is impossible to come off without being opened and is very secure. The link is not too wide, so it is comfortable to wear as an 'every day' chain. Due to the high purity of the gold content the chain is very heavy for its size. A necklace like this in a lower purity gold would weigh substantially less.

This is a good quality and well made chain, weighing over six and a half grams. It is eighteen inches in length, so a very comfortable size, wearing a little closer to the neck.   Made in Italy, circa 1980's.
